Source Communicative started in 1991 as Write Away Communications and has metamorphosed as the result of meeting various client requirements into a marketing communications firm that specializes in the analytical chemistry instrumentation and software with an emphasis on laboratory informatics and information systems. Along the way, expertise was developed in ISO 9000 Quality Systems, with several manuals being produced for leading Silicon Valley companies such as Cirrus Logic, DisCopyLabs, Clontech Laboratories, and Symantec when they first incorporated ISO 9000 into their work processes. In addition, when
the Internet took off in 1996, Source Communicative developed one of
the first online directories in the analytical chemistry field, LIMSource.com,
for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) professionals.
The web site and its' accompanying newsletter, the LIMSLetter,
were sold to Technology Networks in 2011. Helen Gillespie continues
her editorial role as Technology Networks' Informatics Editor. |
